The union is an organization that is set up to protect the rights and promote the professional, economic, social, cultural and sports interests.
The basis of trade unions is the primary trade union organization that represents the initiative of at least 3 people considered founders. Decision to found the primary trade union organization shall be adopted by the Constituent Assembly.
The union alleges voluntarily, based on common interests (profession, branch etc.) and activate a rule in enterprises, institutions and organizations irrespective of legal form of organization and type of ownership, departmental or branch membership. The employer has no right to prevent individuals union association.
The constitution of the union's organizational structure and functioning is regulated by union status.
